Abita Beer Bottle Sculpture by George Naifeh

Sharing stories behind individual pieces is a big part of the Agora Max experience—so here goes one of my favorites. This piece is a commissioned Abita Beer bottle sculpture by George Naifeh, a chainsaw and folk artist based just down the road in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Richard and I own a few of George’s works, but this one stands out.

It was originally commissioned by Stanford Graham for his pub right next door to this building. Stanford was a passionate collector with a deep love for Abita Beer and all things New Orleans. His collection reflected his “Laissez les bons temps rouler” (let the good times roll) philosophy—and this piece embodies that spirit.

Standing just under four feet tall, the bottle was carved and hand-painted by Naifeh with his signature raw, expressive style. It’s a bold and unique addition to any art collection, sure to spark conversation and bring a vibrant touch of Southern charm to your bar or home.
